Simply put, I offer leadership consulting. From one-to-one executive coaching to facilitated workshops and retreats, I aim to serve medium-to-small businesses in their leadership development and business process improvement endeavors. I leverage coaching tools and methods to help leaders get things done.
What is coaching? It means different things to different people and organizations, but I align my practice with the definition that The International Coaching Federation (ICF) uses. The ICF is a global organization for coaches and coaching dedicated to advancing coaching as a profession.
The ICF defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership.”
In other words, coaching is how I illuminate possibilities and help others unlock their Boomcraft.
Illuminate and Ignite
My coaching framework consists of a six-month, one-on-one coaching engagement that requires the commitment to dig deep, brave the uncharted valley, and emerge on the other side, ready to unleash your Boomcraft.
If you really want to light the world up and rattle those windows, you have to feed the fire inside first. The fire inside gives your craft its boom. Through exploring the cycle of thoughts-action-observation-assessment under the watchful, compassionate eye of your guide (that’s me), we can illuminate the possibilities before you and articulate your purpose to the world. When you focus on the direction, not directions, you learn to see the paths before you. You choose one, then make it great. If you don’t have the right words to articulate your purpose to the world or are new to the world of coaching, there is no better time to start than right now. I call this stage Illuminate.
When you have set a direction and a path is chosen, the time to ignite change has come. Incredible things happen when Boomcraft is applied. Together, we can map a course to bring your plan, project, or idea to life using the special skills, abilities, and gifts that only you can bring on the journey. I’ll serve as your guide and companion and teach you how to continue to weave your Boomcraft into everything you do. If you can confidently articulate your purpose to others and want help putting your purpose to work, I can work with you to create and execute a plan to make change happen. I call this stage Ignite.
Whether we Illuminate or Ignite, I can frame personal and professional development in a way that I’m pretty sure you have never heard about before. There is a hidden system for leveling up skills and building career paths that lies within the games we’ve been playing our whole lives. It’s right in front of our eyes, but most people never see it. I can illuminate the mechanics of this system and provide a framework for applying the lessons I’ve learned to your personal and professional development.
