The Shelf

I’m building something online, and I want you to
be a part of it. I like to think of it as The Shelf.

The idea is simple: build an online repository of
career builds and skill trees that anyone,
anywhere, can search. Anyone will be able to pull
documented paths off the shelf. Even better, anyone can
add a document to the shelf. See, the shelf isn’t going to
come from me. It’s going to come from you (and you and
you and you). I’m going to build the shelf; you’re going to
populate it.

The information you contribute may help someone
plan out the next step in their career journey. Traditional
career paths are a thing of the past. Today, people own
their careers, and they often must dig to find the right
resources. Your contribution will be added to a growing
body of knowledge designed to make finding ideas and
inspiration a little bit easier.
